Mackenzie Elizabeth

                                                             This is serious Mack
                                                            This is my sweet Mack.
                                                             Now we're having fun.
Her laughter is what I see here.
I see you!!!

2 and 1/2 now. Most days are trying, but then we get to have these times together when it's just us and we get to shake flowers and rain water off Crepe Myrtles and play hide and seek.
This brings back memories of taking pictures with Rachel, who is now 9 and 1/2. She was much smaller than Mack and had the longest hair for a 2 year old blonde. We went to the park with our friend Nicholas and I shot with a 35millimeter Nikon, that was broken. I had to wind it by hand oh yah film fed. I no longer have that camera, but I have the pictures it gave me and they were amazing, just like these pictures of Mackenzie. I didn't have a digital anything except Walgreens on the corner and I didn't have Photoshop, and I'm so glad that I got genuine pictures. Not pictures that are not real. I do have the program, but I am veering away from it more and more. I am an active out doors person. I think I've said this  more than once, I don't like being on the computer except to share my little art work.  I've had my fair share of office jobs behind a computer, typing and proofing and editing papers, letters, reports and so on. I would much rather be out doors, even if the sweat is running down my back and it is 90 degrees out. Playing with children and making them smile. This brings me pure joy! The only other thing that makes me happier is the laughter from my own children.

Love you Macky, Miss Michele

LOVE!!!!!

I love everything about this photo shoot, the family, the sand, the water, the sun that we weren't sure if it was going to show up, but it did, just in time. I haven't seen them in a while but every time I do we have the best time. I am so glad these turned out exactly how I wanted them, I think the best part is when Grandpa is so cheery! Love the picture of him with the kids and his shirt is off, it got so stinkin hot, I don't think he knew I took this shot, but in reality this is the one they will keep forever in there hearts. Grandpa going out to play! He was wonderful but it really was just too hot for him.

I love that I was able to run away to the beach that evening and walk in the sand. This momma needed a break from her day job.
